Do you need a plan for how you can (and should) migrate files to Office 365?

How hard can it be? (my favorite phrase, in addition to “It depends”)

Who should be able to create new teams and how to handle it?

The answer is (as so often) here too “It depends”

Here are some examples of solutions you can choose based on your needs. (Of course, there are many other solutions “out there” but the tools are usually the same.)

Self-Service

If all users are able to establish new teams then you must get a provisioning solution in place before the roll-out, otherwise I can guarantee that you will get a chaos and lose control in very short time.

Say Welcome to Announcements in Microsoft Teams

If you follow the Microsoft 365 roadmap i am sure that you have read about the Feature ID: 51326. Today i found it available in my tenant so of course i had to try it. In addition to start a new “Conversation” in Microsoft Teams you can now also create an “Announcement” with a nice header. An announcement is like a conversation but it stands out a little bit more.
